Stir it Up
Yesterday I did things I’ve not done in years, went swimming with my daughter and grandson, it was great to swim up and down and watch Joshua splashing about, I changed the furniture around in my living room and made a new curry recipe from Slimming World with mushy peas, it was delicious. You may be thinking, so what, big deal and I wouldn’t blame you except there is
a moral to this story.
When we think of change we often think of the big things like a new job, a new car, a new relationship, start a new business, move house, but changing the little things in life can be equally important, because you see and do them on a daily basis and it affects your mood and Positive Attitude. So small things you can change without much time, effort or money:-
Pictures in your house, I buy them from charity shops and recycle them by giving them back when I’m tired of them. The picture you see before you go to sleep and when you wake up is very important, my daughter Kirsty Denisonbought me a great motto one for my birthday (see picture).
Try a new recipe
Ring a friend you have not spoken to in ages
Change the furniture around in your house
Put that ornament on the windowsill instead of the table
Think different upbeat fantasy like thoughts
Wear glitzy evening clothes in the day
Drive a different way to work
Buy colourful flowers for your home
Invite the little old lady next door who lives alone for a cup of tea,
Try a new hobby, painting, photography, pole or belly dancing.
Go on stir it up, try it, it’s refreshing.
Have a sensational Sunday.
Love as Always
