Kathy and I went to a Mind, Body and Spirit show in Stevenage yesterday. It was mainly attended by women and there were many stalls. There were stalls for crystals, reiki healing, some wonderful aromas coming from incensed sticks, massages, reflexology, tarot card readings, psychic readings and much more, we were in our element.
Whilst in the ladies we started chatting to a lovely lady who said she had a stall and we visited her stall, where she was selling her book called A Souls Musings, her name was Sonia Grover. She told us that the book was full of poems that she had written over the years. She also said a lot of the poems were channelled, which is like a medium and you are getting messages from a higher non physical being, I told her that when I write on here it sometimes feels like that. For each of us we sat in a chair closed our eyes, she told us then to open our eyes, where she had a picture of a symbol and we had to tell her what that symbol meant to us, and she wrote what we said on the back. She told us and some young boys that her book was created for free from CreateSpace, which I did know about. She was very generous of spirit with herself and her knowledge. I liked Sonia she was open friendly and a giving person, very authentic, I decided to buy her book and there is a picture of us below.
We listened to two short talks, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. However, there was a difference in the talks, one lady that spoke had not prepared her talk and she freely admitted it, as she had not had time, but the talk came straight from the heart, she was engaging the audience into it by asking questions, she was smiling and having fun and was obviously passionate about her coaching company, which was for empowering women and Kathy and I are going to attend one of her meetings. She was authentic and real and we instantly clicked with her. The other talk was very good and enjoyable, I loved the subject that she was talking about, but to me it was like the lady was reading from a book, it didn’t feel authentic, we didn’t warm to her like the other lady.
When we are being authentic, being who-we-really-are it shows big time. You are talking and acting from the heart. You are not a robot just relaying information. People like real people, and sometimes they are not everyone’s cup of tea, but that doesn’t matter, because they are living a life that’s on purpose. They are not fitting in with the norm, they don’t want to ‘normal’ whatever that is. Fun and laughter is a top priority. These people are unique to themselves, and to my mind that’s what we all should aspire to.
I write on here at 4am every morning, to me it’s the best time of the day, I feel at my most inspirational, it’s quiet and peaceful, everyone’s asleep, infact it feels a bit mystical and Sonia informs me it’s the witching hour, wow spooky but I love it, and whatever I write on here comes straight from the heart, I’m being as authentic as I possibly can, discussing everyday and sometimes not everyday experiences where I feel I’ve learnt something, and it feels so good to be authentic.
What I’m suggesting here is be yourself, be authentic, show off your unique magnificence to the world, You came here to shine and be the light that illuminates the world.
Lots of Love
