Hi friends
Small Gesture, Big Reward
When I returned from Lukla to the hotel in Kathmandu there was a huge Nepalese wedding going on in the hotel, there were loads of people with ladies in their beautiful colourful dresses.it was very noisy and elaborate, and my first thoughts were I want a bit of peace after my hard but amazing trek through the Himalayas.
I decided to embrace the situation, make the most of it and enjoy it.
I sat by the pool, some of the wedding party asked me to take some pictures of them which I did, and told them they looked lovely in their stunning colourful dresses, they let me take a picture too.
I sat by myself by the pool reading a book, the brass band, that were there for the wedding started playing, and were 50 yards away, and they were really quite good, I clapped. They beckoned me over.
So I went and sat with the band, we chatted away and were very friendly, they were police men and women. I sat with them whilst they played and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was very much a case of a small gesture bringing a big reward.
Have a fab Bank Holiday Monday
Lots of Love
